Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Supplier Quality Specialist to join the Quality Team located in Tulsa, OKThe selected candidate will be required to travel to/from different suppliers and job sites as needed. Travel will be required on an as-needed basis, which will include overnight travel as requested by management to support the business need.The job also requires the candidate be able to work (hybrid) in which the selected applicant will be assigned to a near-by Boeing supplier or at a near-by Boeing facility. When working from home, it requires the applicant to obtain a secured high-speed internet connection and have a designated work space to conduct Boeing business. Our Supplier Quality teams are geographically spread-out across the Midwest and this job does require a significant amount of local travel. This job requires the applicant to possess a valid driver’s license and a personally owned vehicle to support the work at our suppliers. This position has been identified as a ‘hybrid’ opportunity but does require applicants to live and travel in the Tulsa, OK area.Position Responsibilities:

Plans and conducts audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.

Documents and reports audit and assessment results. Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements.

Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.

Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.

Resolves routine issues and concerns.

Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.

Provides Quality interpretation of requirements.

Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.

Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.

Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.

Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.

Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.

Recommends corrective actions to address supplier non-conformances.

Performs bench marking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.

Performs product verification of supplier products

Works under general direction.

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality

Experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)

Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications

Use of a personal vehicle to travel for business reasons

Current alid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Experience have working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)

Experience have working directly with suppliers or supplier management

Typical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
