- Document business requirements.
- Partner with technical services groups (internal MIS and/or external vendors) to design technical solution to meet the business requirements.
- Configure application-enabled business systems.
- Construct test cases, develop test scripts and facilitate appropriate testing (unit, integration, system, QA, UAT).
- Validate production implementation.
- Assist with end-user training.
- Maintain accurate system and System Development LifeCycle documentation.
- Provide leadership, management, and guidance for all aspects of the assigned request.
- Provide end-user consultative support.
- Act as system liaison between UMB users of business application systems and the technical services group(internal MIS and/or external vendors) responsible for support.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Secondary degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration or related field OR equivalent education and work experience
- Demonstrates strong multi-tasking, organizational, and time management abilities
- Demonstrates analytical skills and ability to problem solve for moderately-complex problems
- Demonstrates clear verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, expressing moderately-complex technical concepts in business terms
- Demonstrates ability to identify solutions where precedents and procedures may not exist
- Demonstrates effective networking skills
- Demonstrates working knowledge of best practice testing techniques/procedures
