Leads a vertical construction sub-team with a focus on 2 or more of Inspire Brand’s concepts. Is the Construction Liaison with Brand leadership for their supported Brands, along with other co-responsible peers, while balancing the needs of the broader Matrix organization. Responsible for staffing and strategically prioritizing the team members activities in service of all Matrix Organization's needs for Construction resources, supporting FZs with New Restaurant Openings and all necessary development activities. Is a people leader dedicated to developing their team to the highest standards for performance within the Organization's goals for AOP, Project Delivery and Personal Development.RESPONSIBILITIES

Directs, leads, develops, and sets strategic project priorities for a team of Construction Managers, in conjunction with outside construction and project management resources, in support of multiple construction projects; New Restaurants Openings for 2 or more Brands within Inspire.

Works with peers to help create strategic prioritizations for all projects within the broader Matrix Organization of Inspire.

Directs the management of all Project Schedules by tracking projects based on defined project plan timelines: provides timely and accurate updates from his/her team from the dates and schedule information within Inspire Brands development tracking systems and comprehensive communication with key project stakeholder teams including; Operations, Real Estate, Architecture, Legal/Lease, Facilities, IT, Analytics, FP&A, Operations Equipment Engineering, the Construction Support Team, and Lease administration, for the purpose of coordinating and reporting all aspects of the schedule.

Ensures quality control and adherence to Brand specific design & construction standards and requirements for Franchise locations; and as well as support the Inspire Brand Construction Managers in this activity. Pro-active in identifying and communicating potential issues and concerns. Collaborating with the various Brands design groups for the feedback of Design related issues within the prototype plans.

Participates in various Brands Capcom and Operations Leadership team meetings and is an active participant with Operations, Franchising and Real Estate in support of opening new locations for all Inspire Brands chains.

Carries a minimum of 3 NRO or Remodel Projects annually to keep aligned with FZ relationships and remain up to date with process and procedures for the sub-org for the Brands. Performs periodic on-site inspections with his team to ensure all projects are on schedule as well as compliance with leases issues, Brands standards, and approved plans.

Participates in periodic construction meetings with his/her team: to ensure up-to-date data and information is being utilized.

Participate in and / or handle special projects assigned by Department Leadership in conjunction with Inspire and Brand Leadership.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

2-Year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field required

4-Year degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Business Administration preferred

Required Minimum: 5-10 years’ experience in general construction (non-residential) and construction project management.

Preferred: 10 years of experience in restaurant / retail construction management in a Franchise Organization ​

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

Experienced in project management (construction)

Detailed knowledge of supporting technology, budgeting, estimating, scheduling

Strong relationship and influencing skills

Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Cloud based project tracking solutions.

Working knowledge of building codes, ADA, federal and state requirements

Ability to navigate / work with regulatory agencies

Strong organizational skills

Persistent, detailed and able to report clearly and accurately

Ability to manage multiple projects, in an aggressive time sensitive environment

Demonstrated management and leadership skills

Ability to develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Ability to determine the key step in a complex process in order to advance projects

Self-motivated with a tenacious attitude for solving problems

Ability to manage a team of Construction Mangers and outside Construction Consultants
