Exadata, ZDLRA, and ODA are three engineered systems specifically designed for Oracle database workloads and are best known for unmatched performance. They are Oracle’s highly successful offerings in the market, supporting mission-critical customers worldwide.We are seeking a dynamic and creative addition to the Global Strategy and Outbound Product Management (PM) team. His/Her primary goal will be to help accelerate these engineered systems' growth across all the worldwide regions, across different industry verticals. This person will focus on commercializing the products, crafting industry-focused solutions that tell a compelling story about how the product can be a differentiated offering, defining and refining the GTM, and working cross-functionally to grow the product as dictated by priorities. The priorities may change from quarter to quarter.Minimum qualifications:Eight years of experience in datacenter / cloud infrastructure technology, specifically around Iaas and Paas products

Experience in engineering and product management or product marketing in one or more datacenter / cloud infrastructure areas

A demonstrated track record of accomplishment(s), in earlier roles.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred QualificationsDeep understanding of on-premises datacenter infrastructure technologies, its growth opportunities, and use-cases for different market verticals / workloads

Skilled / highly-comfortable in quantitative and qualitative analysis with data, analyst reports and related literature

Experience with Database products, corresponding systems architecture/infrastructure requirements

Excellent presentation skills; Experienced with core product management tasks.

An MBA is preferred but not necessary

ResponsibilitiesAt a strategic level, this individual needs to cross-functionally define and execute the growth strategy for Exadata, ZDLRA, and ODA, including seeking out market segments and partners representing the growth opportunity.At a tactical level, this individual need to enthusiastically interact with various internal business groups, operations units, product release teams, and test and development teams to manage the products' entire life cycle process within the Mission Critical Database Technologies group. Furthermore, this individual also needs to actively engage with the sales and business development teams to understand, prioritize, and progressively eliminate roadblocks to these products' growth, wherever they exist.Among other items, potential responsibilities may include:Working with the Engineering / technology-focused Product Management team to understand and develop key differentiation and success factors for Oracle engineered systems.

Working with various stakeholders to commercialize and launch product updates.

Working with the marketing teams to align the messages to the core product value proposition to develop the market and enhance the pipeline.

Working with the regional sales and business development teams to structure the sale plays, sale programs, and GTM market models, specifically tuned to the dynamics of each global region and providing periodic training & support to the regional sales ecosystem.

Working with partner teams to develop and enhance partner ecosystems. Activities involve aligning Oracle engineered system proposition with partner's GTM frameworks, evangelization, product positioning, vertical alignment, roadmap updates, solution support, and training.
