The Boeing Oklahoma Systems Integration teams are looking for Associate Systems Engineers Level 2 to join the Aircraft Modernization and Modification programs. The candidate engineer will work with a dynamic and diverse Systems Integration team that supports the design, configuration, production, certification, and delivery of aircraft integrated systems. This Level 2 position is located in Oklahoma City.The Systems Engineer (SE) applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic life-cycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Having a working knowledge of Boeing’s Airplane development methods will also be a benefit. Ideally having experience working on or with a development program, within a Design Center, and having interacted with supply chain, and multi-skilled, multi-department teams. Successful candidates will have demonstrated their ability for technical leadership, be willing to challenge the status-quo, and thrive in loosely structured environments.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESDuties will include but not limited to:The System Engineer may work with Environmental Controls, Mechanical Hydraulics, Flight Controls, Electrical Sub-Systems, Electrical Design and Standards, Flight Deck, Cabin Systems, and Avionics Systems teams, and will collaborate with those teams for issue resolution and new system certification. This opportunity will provide the engineer with a detailed exposure at the heart of aircraft systems, and provide a leadership growth pathway. This is an ideal position for engineers seeking to broaden their knowledge of systems architectures, change management processes while at the same time getting exposure to senior level decision making.Collaborates across Systems Engineering to ensure schedule performance, technical completeness, and certification compliance.

Partners with appropriate stakeholders to ensure understanding across the systems engineering teams for certification and airplane level integration.

Evaluates customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces

Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture

Resolves cross-functional technical issues

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship .An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience ):2-5 years experience in systems engineering and/or software engineering

Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. knowledge

Great communications and writing skills

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at multiple organizational levels in dynamic, fast-paced environment

Critical thinking skills; ability to work in agile, flexible team environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ):System Engineering requirements and verifications experience

Able to lead by influence outside formal reporting relationships

Typical Education/Experience :Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).
