Find your future with us.The Boeing Company has a great opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineering Manager (Level L) to lead the Bombers Electrical Design and Integration (EDI) team located in Oklahoma City, OK . This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. The Bombers platforms include the B-1, B-2, and B-52 Bombers for the United States Air Force (USAF) and our offices are located on and next to Tinker Air Force Base. The Bombers are continuously updating their aircraft and avionics systems to stay ahead of the advancing threat.As a Senior Electrical Engineering EDI Manager, you will provide direction to a department responsible for electrical wire harness design and electrical wire routing design for Airborne Surveillance, Command & Control aircraft, Executive Transport aircraft, and Bomber aircraft. The successful candidate will plan, organize, coordinate and manage all resources necessary to successfully execute Bomber Electrical Design Integration work statement.Position Responsibilities:Manages resources, processes, program support and Bombers participation in a manner that supports successful Program and BDS execution

Leads EDI engineering management teams that provide wire design and wire installation technical expertise and program execution for Bombers supported platforms

Mentoring and coaching all levels of managers and engineers providing knowledge transfer to aid in growing our next generation of leaders and engineers

Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives in accordance with Bombers and BDS business goals and objectives

Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

Oversees and approves technical approaches, products and processes.

Manages, develops and motivates employees and managers

Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.

Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.

Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.

Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.

Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

Occasional travel of 25% or less may be required.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in a technical field

10 or more years of experience in an engineering related role

5 or more years of experience leading teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Previous experience in the defense or aerospace industry

Previous experience in Electrical Harness/Cable/Wire Design and Routing

Previous experience in Management

Active U.S. Security Clearance
