The Production Supervisor will be responsible for providing leadership to Production Team Leaders and Specialists to ensure that the highest level of customer service for all production needs is provided. The Production Supervisor will ensure 100% accuracy with printing and shipping of client checks and tax forms, and reviewing processes for efficiency. Responsible for the development of current department leadership and to assist in the identification of future leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coach and develop department leadership to drive the success of employees, department and organization.
  • Oversee performance metrics for the department with the collaboration of Production Team Leaders. Metrics will consistent of (but not limited to) 100% accuracy in printing and shipping of clients checks and tax forms.
  • Act as a project lead for Production department on special projects including but not limited to quarter-end and year-end processing and perfect payroll meetings.
  • Establish and maintain solid professional relationships with external vendors.
  • Represents the department while collaborating with other internal department leaders to ensure the most efficient and effective processes are in place. Recommend and implement changes as necessary.
  • Ensure high-level escalations are responded to immediately in a professional and effective manner. Act as a resource for Team Leaders in resolving escalations by utilizing superior Paycom process knowledge and strong persuasion skills.
  • Provide feedback to department and organization regarding service failures, client concerns, or other identified trends.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of rapport and trust throughout the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in a supervisory role or leading cross-functional project teams
  • 3 years of production/printing/supply chain management required, preferably within the technology sector

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelors degree in IMS, Business, or Supply Chain & Logistics degree

Experience:

  • 3 years in large scale printing facility, leading change through technology preferred

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding and ability to run Inserter/Stuffing machine
  • Collaborative leader with ability to give and receive feedback
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to coach and develop teams
  • Ability to make sound judgement decisions independently
  • Ability to work on multiple high impact projects and prioritize effectively while delivering results on time
  • Ability to quickly identify, resolve, and provide alternate solutions to problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eagerness to continue learning
  • Working knowledge of FedEx shipping site.
