The Payroll Administrator position is a short-term contract / temporary opportunity based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.ResponsibilitiesManage payroll information requests and questions
Put together for department heads the circulation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports
Handle reconciliation of employee deductions and other relevant liabilities
Manage payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
Enter changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers as part of managing payroll records
Manage and review, including verify, source documents
Proper payroll information maintenance by collecting, calculating, and entering data
Produce reports after compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages
Calculate employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payments and employee federal and state income and social security taxes to determine payroll liabilities
Facilitate company compliance according to federal and state regulations and guidelines
Help payroll manage all internal and external audits
Manage other tasks as assigned
Continue employee confidence in payroll operations by keeping sensitive information confidential
Follow established policies and procedures to maintain payroll operations and report changes as necessary Requirements - Prior experience working with collections/accounting software
Proficient knowledge of basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen
General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred
Capable of managing high volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc.
Knowledgeable about internal controls
Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
2+ years of relevant experience in payroll
Knowledge of benefits payroll
Account reconciliation experience
Expertise in federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
Meet and uphold Certified Payroll Professional criteria
