Field Meter Reader Supervisor

In addition, employees are also entitled to participate in an employer sponsored 401(k) plan, to save for retirement.  Pay and benefits for employees represented by a union are outlined in their collective bargaining agreement.  Position Purpose: The Utility Supervisor will be responsible for supervising employees who clean, fuel and check fluid levels for a fleet of diesel buses.Primary Duties/Responsibilities:Directly oversees all daily activities of the Utility Department including supervision of all Utility Workers.Accounts for subordinate and personnel compliance with all Veolia's safety rules, policies and procedures.Monitor employee's performance of established procedures.Plans, organizes, and assigns daily work in Utility Department.Monitors performance of and efficiencies of the Utility Department.Hold daily tailgate meetings with Utility Workers.Perform Post Inspections on vehicles that have been detailed.Provide daily updates to Maintenance Manager and Client.Administer daily reports for the Utility Department.Responsible for maintaining the storage areas of spare parts and equipment.Other duties as needed.Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
