You'll help us differentiate ourselves from the competition, position us effectively in the market, and help Acumatica dominate the mid-market for ERP. We will only consider candidates who have demonstrable Competitive Intelligence experience in ERP software. This role is a contract to hire opportunity with Acumatica's Product Marketing team.Primary Responsibilities: Messaging and PositioningTranslate functionality and benefits into compelling marketing messages. Develop all competitive product positioning and messaging for prospects and customers that differentiates Acumatica in the market.

Partner with Product Management to understand the overall product strategy.

Competitive Intelligence? Provide actionable market and competitive insights to help Acumatica dominate the mid-market for ERP.? Deliver in-depth market research and intelligence for the mid-market in ERP horizontally and on an industry-specific basis.? Create compelling playbooks, sales presentations, battle cards, cheat sheets, and other internal or customer-facing assets to help sales and partners win in competitive situations.? Stay informed of market trends, competitive developments, create relevant competitive positioning documents.Sales EnablementEnable a growing Acumatica sales team with messaging, sales plays, cheat sheets, FAQs, 1-sheeters, presentations, competitive intel, etc.

Develop sales tools for internal readiness.

New Product and Features ReleaseCreate compelling external and internal-facing competitive content in preparation for Acumatica?s new release cadence, including newsletters, presentations, solution briefs, and updating product pages on the website.

Marketing enablementBe the competitive expert on the team, providing content and support to all marketing functions, such as Demand Generation, PR, AR, Communications, and Web.

RequirementsThis role requires 5+ years? demonstrable experience working in market insights and competitive intelligence with ERP software

Robust knowledgebase of the ERP vendor landscape and vendor profiles in the mid-market space is a must-have

Excellent written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to

provide compelling external-facing materials like competitive presentations, battle cards, and website content. Please be prepared to provide samples of your work.Skilled in gathering information from multiple data sources to synthesize and deliver robust messaging and positioning materials

Results-oriented with strong time management skills and capable of performing well in a fast-paced environment and highly organized to effectively manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Obsessed about showcasing Product Marketing value to the business.

A sense of humor, tenacity, and grace under pressure =)

Familiarity with strategic alliances or partner management is a huge plus.
