We seek an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivers as a way of life, puts people first, and is inspired to make a positive impact.The Technology Specialist is responsible for operating, installing, and maintaining selected FCA Security systems, hardware and software, associated with Fire, Access Control Systems (ACS), CCTV, and interfaces located in the North America region. Formulates project scopes of work, enforces work standards, and assigns contractor schedules. Maintains communications with vendors, field staff, and other sub-contractors during all phases of projects and service requests. Simultaneous management of multiple projects and service requests at multiple North America facilities to locate, design, install, test, inspect, and integrate security and fire related systems. This position will service local and networked computer systems used by security personnel. Ensures life safety systems are maintained at an optimal level through the entire system lifecycle. Adopts practices that promote maximum system uptime.Basic Qualifications:Associate’s degree from an accredited institution OR
High School diploma/GED with 3+ years’ experience with Access Control, CCTV, Fire System both fixed and portable, and Special Fire Protection systems
Strong analytical skills needed to evaluate complex data and develop reasonable analyses, appropriate conclusions and/or innovative solutions
Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing abilities
Proficient computer skills
Proven ability to work in a detailed-oriented environment
Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision
Experience working with or in a group of highly specialized technicians
Willingness to be on-call outside of common business hours
Must be willing to travel, work weekends, holidays and off shift hours if required
Experience working in office and manufacturing environments
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Project Management, Electronics Technology, Loss Prevention, Criminal Justice, or other related fields
Low voltage electrical experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Access Control, CCTV, Fire System hardware components
Experience in project supervision in areas such as, design, installation, testing, service, and integration of systems
Proven leadership capabilities with progressive management experience in physical and large integrated security projects
