- Apply clinical knowledge to assist in the requirements solicitation, design, development, configuration, and implementation of Client's products
- Pro-actively work with client stakeholders to elicit program requirements, advocating optimal use of technology to develop a solution that improves current practices and outcomes
- Perform clinical walkthroughs, completing thorough assessments of IT infrastructure, existing technology, and clinical workflows to produce comprehensive analysis which will serve as the foundation for sales quotes and resource planning
- Clarify customer requirements and communicate to internal stakeholders in an actionable manner
- Forecast implementation target dates
- Support field training
- Refine training plan/ process and generate additional training tools as needed
- Facilitate and conduct client training on site
- Maintain close communication with internal stakeholders and customers during the implementation process, keep everyone updated on project plan, status, issues and actions
- Compile and track customer implementation metrics
- Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
- Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
- Active Learning - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
- Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action
- 3-5 years in an acute-care environment, preferably in a perioperative clinical role
- Required experience with EHR build, design, and implementation
- Understanding the complexities of healthcare IT, and the design of platforms that interface data from divergent sources/systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
