Process Technician

Process TechnicianJob Number: 303783Category: ManufacturingDescription: A Process Technician job is available with a manufacturing client in New Albany, Ohio. The Process Technician will be responsible for the efficient operations of the work area, focusing on safety, health & environment, reliability and operational integrity, seeking new ways to improve equipment and systems" performance and, ultimately, delivering the operating plan. Monitoring and adjusting the operation during shift is a key part of the job.Responsibilities:

Execution of process operations according to SOP's, troubleshooting and resolution of equipment issues and process disruptions, developing and implementing process improvements, performing process monitoring, and supporting investigations.

Will review manufacturing procedures and share the responsibility of training production staff.

Execution of relevant process activities by following established SOP"s.

Troubleshooting of process disturbances, identifying resolution and implementing corrective and preventive measures, as required.

Drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.

Provide subject matter expertise in supporting process and product related investigations, execute CAPAs and provide input to process and equipment change controls to ensure robust and capable solution.

Perform adjustment through use of work offsets and tool changes due to wear as required to maintain part quality.

Interpret blueprint and job specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.

Maintain quality standards by checking product for scrap levels and process capability.

Use digital instruments and measuring devices to collect and record continuous accurate data.

Requirements;

Possess a minimum of an Associate"s or Technical Degree, with two to three years" experience in a manufacturing facility another transferable industry.

Possess a "can-do" team building attitude and excellent proven attention to detail.

Experience of mechanical, electrical or process equipment will be advantageous, as well as demonstrable problem-solving skills.
