Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required What you'll do:- Determine faulty components, recommends replacements, and repairs as appropriate.
- Perform equipment and component cleaning, regularly scheduled maintenance services and equipment calibration. Perform equipment set-up as needed.
- Complete documentation itemizing services and updates related logs, e.g., inventory, environmental.
- Performs functions moderately complex in nature and recognizes the need to apply various methods to accomplish tasks.
- Work is performed independently under minimal supervision, except for new assignments.
- Independent judgment is used to determine best approach and sound reasoning is expected to achieve maximum results.
- Often exchanges information with colleagues or work groups required to perform role.
- Errors may result in moderate loss of time, resources and customer/user satisfaction.
- 6+ months in a related position.
- Basic knowledge of electronics and functionality of components at the board level.
- 2+ years in a related position.
- knowledge, skills in electronic fundamentals and Boolean mathematics
- Moderate Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints in order to perform the repair function.
- Troubleshoots electronics devices at component level.
- 5+ years in a related position.
- Advanced knowledge, skills in electronic fundamentals and Boolean mathematics.
- Ability to read and amend schematics and blueprints in order to perform the repair function.
- Troubleshoots electronics devices at component level and resolves integration and configuration problems involving circuit analysis, wave form calculations, fault isolation, programmable components programming and signal flow tracing.
- Able to apply electric laws to make clear determinations while troubleshooting.
- Able to do BGA rework is a plus.
- Has moderate through-hole and surface soldering skills.
- Able to use multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, signal analyzers, and any other devices used in electronic troubleshooting and repair.
- Troubleshoots electronics devices at component level and resolves integration and configuration problems involving circuit analysis, wave form calculations, fault isolation, programmable components programming and signal flow tracing.
- Overtime may be required based on business need
- High School Diploma or equivalent in a technical field.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 50lbs required.
