Lead Developer-Full-Time Direct Hire!Modis, Inc. is seeking a Lead Developer for a role with an innovative leading company in Columbus, OH. The Lead Developer will produce scalable software solutions in an Ecomm environment. You'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of experience in PHP, Laravel, and Python development along with mentoring or leadership experience. Lead a team of developers international and stateside.
Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
Design client-side and server-side architecture
Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
Write effective APIs
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Create security and data protection settings
Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
Write technical documentation
Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Developer or similar role
Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
Skills in PHP, Laravel, and Python development
Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) or AWS Cloud Platform
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
