Role: GIS AdministratorLocation: Columbus Ohio Short Description: Complete Description: The candidate will be supporting The Ohio Department of Transportation's Division of Planning, Office of Technical Services, supporting aspects of ODOT's Roadway Information Management System (RIMS) and associated enterprise system integrations. This position will function as a highly skilled CGA with specific responsibilities that include: Creates automated geographic information system (GIS) processes to streamline workflows or system integrations Creates automated GIS processes to support data QAQC procedures Adheres to SDLC best practices in the development of automated processes Uses adaptive / iterative development to refine automated procedures based on customer feedback, to enhance procedure performance, or meet other needs Performs complex data analysis Creates dashboards, reports, webmaps or other similar products Ensures required documentation is complete Collaborates with technical teams to ensure stability of solutions Provides technical support & troubleshooting assistance to the RIMS data editing team Adheres to agency data standards 1. Have excellent oral and written skills/possess strong meeting and work session skills. 4.
