Electro Mechanical Assembly Technicians ($23/hr+) Immediate Need

ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY TECHNICIANS NEEDED ASAP (Cleveland Metro Area)

Location: Cleveland Metro Area (Bedford Heights, OH)

Shift: First Shift (Monday- Friday)

Pay: $18-23+/hr (based on experience) overtime is available

MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY OR WITH A WEEK NOTICE (HIRING NOW AND ASAP)

I have an immediate need for multiple Assembly/Mechanical Technicians for a long-term consulting project supporting the assembly and installation of CNC and Automated Laser Fabrication equipment on site in the Bedford Heights, OH area. We will have a supervisor guiding you, but basic math and schematics reading is a must and must be comfortable using basic hand tools. We need 3 to 4 folks who can work Monday – Friday on a first shift (occasional weekend if needed but not usually). This is not overly complex work but attention to detail is a must. The equipment has been assembled and tested previously and we need our Techs to simply unpack and re-assemble the equipment at the customer’s site. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform equipment assembly and installation assistance at customer site, with direct supervision. Includes unloading, unpacking, inventory control, mechanical assembly and following directions from technical leads.

Ability to work in a small team environment, punctuality, and a GOOD ATTITUDE is what is needed to be successful in this role

Ability to effectively document and communicate ideas, strategies, problems, and solutions in both verbal and written forms to co-workers and customers.

Ability to prepare written service reports and other necessary supportive documentation.

Comfortable with basic hand and power tools (nothing crazy)

Other duties as assigned

MUST HAVES:

Ability to read and comprehend mechanical schematics

Ability to use basic hand and power tools

Ability to operate a Fork Lift is not required but would be extremely useful and warrant the top of the pay scale.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This job requires very frequent bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, standing, speaking and hearing and frequent kneeling. Repetitive use of the hands, squeezing, keyboarding and crouching. Requires frequent lifting and carrying not to exceed 50lbs. Good visual and color acuity are a must to perform this type of job.
