Job Summary: The Inside Sales Support Representative represents the company in a professional manner in providing high quality and timelysolutions to meet the needs of our current customers as well as potential new customers. The Inside Sales Support Representative is capable of responding to normal daily customer management and service issues with direction, as needed, from the supervisor. This is the incumbents initial assignment within the company, leading to future opportunities within sales and other related departments. Essential Functions: Has a basic understanding of the company's policies, procedures, products and services and capabilities to serve our customers. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with assigned and unassigned customers while gaining an understanding of their businesses, organization, and needs. Communicates effectively with the customer. Provides complete information to the appropriate internal company resources to be able to effectively serve them. Develops effective relationships with appropriate internal company resources to be able to serve as a liaison in effectively serving our existing customers. Responds to customers requests for quotes by entering the necessary information into the quoting system and responding in a timely manner. Communicates with customers to enter incoming orders into the system with complete and accurate information regarding quantity, specifications, and desired delivery dates. Works closely with the credit department to verify the customers credit status and to resolve any credit issues. Tracks orders, communicates with internal company resources and the customer regarding the status of orders and the need for any changes.
