DescriptionYou might be a qualified candidate for this Bookkeeper role if you are a self-driven and organized accounting professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision. Our client is searching for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their company. In this role, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will direct journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, and bank reconciliations. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will also take care of the clerical staff. This full-time employment opportunity is based in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Qualified candidates should apply as soon as possible!Key responsibilities

Arrange cash flow projections, as needed

Arrange sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

Prepare cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

Condense business license and gross receipts

Document budget transfers

Produce monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

Oversee Accounts Receivable

Adept in credit card management and reconciliation

Keep a check on Accounts Payable

Put subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirements together

Operate monthly accounting close

Work on special projects occasionally


Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

Vow to meet business deadlines

Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

Dynamic accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

Payroll experience

Command of QuickBooks
