- The Technology Modernization organization s mission is to deliver a defined set of software engineering tools processes and frameworks that will enable IT teams to deliver maximum business value for the Bank s products
- As a Technology Modernization Strategy Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the overall Technology Modernization strategy is defined and executed
- Coordinating across several disciplines within the Tech Mod org including DevSecOps Quality Engineering
- Enterprise Logging Monitoring to articulate a consolidated software engineering strategy and vision that can be clearly presented to the entire IT organization
- Responsible for collaborating across the Enterprise to partner with leverage and influence other technology improvement initiatives related to networking infrastructure application hosting and more
- Be an advocate for change and drive adoption of modern software development practices
- Create channels and platforms to clearly define and communicate about standard tools and frameworks that IT teams should leverage
- Help define and execute efficient operational rhythms in pursuit of increasing the overall productivity of software development at client site
- Work with IT business partners stakeholders and leadership to gather input drive adoption and validate intended outcomes are achieved
- Identify approaches for seamlessly capturing key software delivery data in order to create metrics that provide visibility into software development performance and the entire software value stream
- Implement dashboards or other reporting to increase transparency and observability of software development performance metrics
- Work to identify bottlenecks and pain points in the end to end software delivery lifecycle
- Propose solutions and approaches to continuously improve the bank s software development and technology practices
- Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions elevating concerns and personally following policies and procedures as defined
- Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience
- While operating within the Bank s risk appetite achieves results by consistently identifying assessing managing monitoring and reporting risks of all types
