Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Work as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk in a stimulating work environment with a team of highly skilled professionals through this opportunity offered by Robert Half. While working closely and reporting to the Accounting Manager, the candidate in this role will be expected to manage the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. Matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks will be the main focus points in this role. Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary position.Your responsibilitiesImplement full-cycle A/P

Carry out additional tasks as assigned

Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs

Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department

Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

Assist with internal and external audits as needed

Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them Requirements - Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
