Campground Owner/Manager(s)

GENERAL DUTIES

Executing planned recreational activities for Campground Guests on a weekly basis. Responsible for making guest reservations, registration, front desk, merchandising, stocking shelves, and store point-of-sale procedures while delivering great guest service.

SPECIFIC DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

Provide superior guest service either over the telephone or in-person, by being enthusiastic, attentive, friendly, and helpful. Handle all guest issues with respect.

Greet all guests with a positive attitude and a well-groomed appearance, a smile, recognition, and a proper KOA uniform shirt and nametag. (Shirts and name tag will be provided by KOA. Laundering shall be the responsibility of the employee.)

Follow all KOA guidelines and procedures regarding the handling of registrations, reservations, and refunds.

Follow specific KOA cash and credit card handling procedures and properly use the computer, cash register, credit card, and various other pieces of equipment.

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled stocking and cleaning programs for the front office, store facilities. Light laundry room and bathhouse cleaning may be required, on occasion.

Promote campground activities and store sales.

Promote local attractions, as well as the KOA system by Value Kard sales and referrals to other KOA’s and being knowledgeable of all national and local advertising and discount programs for the campground, store, and other income areas. Plan, lead and supervise campers with outdoor and indoor recreational activities.

● Promotion of this KOA and the entire KOA system.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

● Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

● Must be able to hear and respond over the telephone.

● Long periods of standing, bending, and kneeling.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

● General knowledge of computer operations.

● Speak the English language fluently.

● Excellent guest service skills.

● Works well with groups of children.

● Be dependable, flexible, and responsible.

● A valid Driver’s License is required.
