CNC LATHE TRAINEE OPERATOR

Job Description

• Operate CNC lathe to produce high-precision components
• Knowledge of all basic machine shop tools and measuringequipment
• Basic knowledge of materialsfor a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to read & understand drawings
• Perform daily lathe maintenance
• Perform some follow-up operations such as deburring, polishing and grinding
• Must consistently maintain a clean and organised work area
• Knowledge of hand tools and other machine shop associated machinery
• Knowledge of workshop practices

Qualifications

• N4Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Fitter/Turner Apprentice
