Ellingson has a strong focus on agriculture drainage solutions and rural water installation. We are currently seeking to fill our Laborer and Operator positions – key positions for each production crew. You will work alongside a Foreman who has been in a Laborer role before working their way up to running their own crew.
Our production crews are heading into the busy season where there will be large amounts of overtime available (working between 60-70 hours/week). Travel is a requirement for this position but with that there is a generous per diem where you can earn an extra $35/overnight stay!
Experience is helpful, but not required, we train the laborer position! However, we do require:
Great attendance, Positive, flexible, teamwork attitude.
Willingness to travel overnight and work a significant amount of overtime during the peak seasons.
Ability to work hard while performing physically demanding work in the field – including standing/walking most of the day, kneeling, squatting, using a ladder, operating hand tools, etc.
Must be willing to travel, crews travel significantly including many overnights (generally 4 nights a week).
Other aspects of the Operator position:
500 – 750 hours Previous Excavator Experience
Experience with open cutting pipe
Candidates with great driving records are preferred. CDL holders preferred, on-the-job CDL training also available.
Not Required but a Plus
Dozer Experience
Laser GPS Experience
Drain Tile Experience
