NPosition Type Management JOB SUMMARYA key member of the Gaylord Hotels Brand Marketing, Digital Products & Brand Management team, this role contributes a high level of specialized knowledge in digital products and supports digital priorities to meet Brand and property business objectives. This individual supports the leveraging of existing digital platforms, the development of new custom sites, as well as their pull-through and localization. It functions as Product Owner for specific products and/or feature areas withing Gaylord Hotels’ digital ecosystem, drives the roadmaps relating to enhancing capabilities for locally relevant experiences according to requirements gathered from stakeholders.This person plays an integral role in and developing customized digital solutions that drive revenue, guest satisfaction and Brand loyalty which could include on-platform m.com sites, custom site development, Eloqua email platform, and third-party partner ticketing and ancillary revenue sites. They will work closely with our Gaylord Hotels brand marketing & management team and property marketing leaders; and, partner with key stakeholders, including Marketing, Martech & Personalization, and Analytics to drive the development and implementation of useful, innovative products from conception to launch.CANDIDATE PROFILEEDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE PREFERRED4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Product/IT, or related subject area

3-5 years of relevant professional experience, including websites, eCommerce, and/or digital product management.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCESBasic technical knowledge relating to web and app development.

Excellent software skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant office automation tools)

Excellent communication and time management

Strong organization skills

PreferredMarketing, e-commerce and digital marketing experience

Experience with email marketing platforms such as Eloqua, Marketo, Exact Target

CORE WORK ACTIVITIESDIGITAL PRODUCT MANAGEMENTContributes to Brand and resort product strategies, visions and roadmaps.

Assumes ownership of specific products and/or feature areas within the Brand’s digital ecosystem.

Manages and prioritizes the product backlog according to business value and technical requirements.

Leads assigned projects, e.g. relating to products or processes of special nature.

Conducts User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and co-manages release schedules.

Scopes out product enhancements as user stories comprehensive of testing scenarios.

Adopts a data-driven mindset in all work and ensures tracking optimization across the product suite.

Develops capability documentation for products and features deployed.

Follows company IT and privacy/compliance requirements, as well as UI guidelines.

Supports ongoing vendor management efforts, including accounting and resource optimization.

EXPERTISE/SUPPORT DEVELOPMENTSupports special efforts in terms of vendor/agency tendering and project management to define and implement optimization and new build strategies to improve traffic and conversion across websites, email, and mobile.

Identify opportunities on websites to develop and implement SEO strategy enhancements to improve performance.

Learns and develops expertise on content optimization efforts based on a web style guide, SEO/SEM, search algorithm updates, and user experience best practices.

Leads support areas as assigned, e.g. property support, stakeholder/field communications, etc.

Supports operational activities, e.g. access management, destination content, structural taxonomy, etc.

Manages pull-through of global products and liaises with HQ partners on continent requirements.

REPORTINGSupports the quality and overall product performance, leading user testing and establishing KPI monitoring with QA partners.

Regularly monitor web pages and website functionality, identifying areas of improvement and CRM efficiencies.

Monitor and evaluate performance via available tracking tools (i.e. Dashboards, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.).

Provide and present tracking, analysis and reporting on effectiveness of all strategies.

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGMENTBuilds & maintains strong business relationships with internal marketing, Marriott Digital Studio, Marriott tagging and other corporate teams critical to custom product development to fully realize key business process, practices, and analyses.

Acts as point of contact to stakeholders as assigned, incl. continent, Brand and property teams.

Educates stakeholders on existing and new capabilities, proposes opportunities and helps troubleshooting.
