Principal Program Manager

Job DescriptionOversees the implementation and maintenance of functional business programs.Identifies, prioritizes, and successfully executes a broad portfolio of functional initiatives and programs. Plans and directs schedules for multiple programs running simultaneously. Partners closely with global cross-functional teams to understand and capture requirements for programs. Navigates complex dependencies between cross-functional teams and organizational priorities to optimize the critical path and addresses & mitigates risks. Effectively influences internal and external teams to prioritize; Drives mitigation plans and ensures ownership for each item and regular follow up through to program closure while ensuring resolution of risk and issues, escalating, as necessary. Provides rigorous management and analysis of overall portfolio budget (including spend and forecasted spend vs. budget, spend per program and historical trends, etc.). Establishes scalable frameworks (process, tools, etc.) for the end-to-end project and manages stakeholders applying project management standards and documentation best practices. Runs standups and sprint planning exercises for programs owned. Builds and maintains consistent reporting across numerous programs. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel. Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 8 years combined experience with project management, data analysis and direct business experience within a specialized function. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or related field. PMP / Scrum Master certification. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with functional and technical teams. Experience with building and managing reporting tools to support Programs; such as scorecards and KPI metrics to further drive insights around our program strategy. Demonstrated ability to balance quantitative and qualitative metrics to provide a holistic viewpoint. Expert level experience with Excel, creating dynamic pivot reports and data visualization. Ability to influence through data visualization and interpretation. Must be self-directed and able to work. independently as well as in a team environment. Must be comfortable working in ambiguous situations. Excellent interpersonal skills. The business operations function steers the ship, drives strategy to execution through systemic planning, communications, and business operations execution. The team is growing, and we need strong contributors to be part it.You play key role in leading and handling complex, cross-organizational programs in the business operations areas that impact OCI product and business and will have exposure to critical business initiatives. You will partner with every team in Oracle to make these projects happen. The space is fun, large, cross cutting and complex. You will drive the development and execution for all aspects of interdepartmental initiatives including headcount budget/spending that our operations function is accountable for. In this function, you will be partnering with HR and Finance to define and run a set of operational processes that are targeted to achieve a healthy bottom-line, optimizing resourcing and handling capacity efficiencies through recurring review KPIs reviews. You will provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership team to support with real-time decision making. You will become the connected thread between the engineering teams and work closely with their leadership to ensure resources invest in the right area.This role requires a self-motivated individual, comfortable operating in a sophisticated, fast-paced environment, and that builds positive relationships with senior leaders across the organization. 6+ years’ experience business operations experience supporting P&L management.

You display a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically.

You possess a technology background that enables you to understand the complexities of the sophisticated architecture of OCI.

Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills.

You can work well with senior leaders within all of Oracle (from engineering to business) to get results for core business initiatives.

You work well in ambiguity, can work with your team to dive into a problem and create a solution.
