This role specifically is to join as a lead and shape the direction of the DevOps culture within the organisation. More specifically, someone who is comfortable and capable of being a doer and drive the change in development teams. The role will have be hands on has a strong focus on leadership, mentoring and organisation of the team. You'll be the key decision maker on projects and will mentor more junior members of the team. As the organisation grows, you will be responsible for the delivery and hiring of new staff to build out a strong DevOps team.

Desired Skills:

Excellent people skills
Understanding of the SDLC
Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Gitlab CI, Linux, and containers
Experience with Helm, Istio, and Prometheus
Experience building, deploying, and maintaining systems and services in AWS
Experience coordinating between multiple teams and pushing a DevOps mindset/culture
Experience working in an Agile environment
