Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Tier 2 helpdesk support
  • Software and hardware deployment, inventory, and configuration
  • Endpoint patch management
  • Account provisioning and de-provisioning
  • Perform periodic system access reviews
  • New Hire IT onboarding and off-boarding
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
  • Build/maintain an internal wiki with technical documentation and manuals
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
  • Implement tools to assist in prevention, detection, and analysis of security threats
  • Assist with evidence gathering for security incidents and audits
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience working as a System Administrator, IT Support, Security related, or a similar role
  • BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • IT or Security certifications preferred (e.g. CompTia, Apple, Microsoft)
  • Cloud-based systems (e.g.JIRA, Confluence, Box, G-Suite, Slack, Gitlab, GCP)

Additional Information

  • Experience with software deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g. anti-virus, anti-malware, access control, and privilege management systems)
  • Intermediate experience with MacOS Administration
  • Ability to create scripts in Python or Bash (preferred)
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills
