Job Description

The primary purpose of this role will be to create and maintain training courses. This position reports to the Director of Quality Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop interactive and engaging courses
  • Maintain existing training courses
  • Work with other departments to resolve training gaps, provide role-based training, etc.
  • Create and maintain external training products
  • Identify appropriate training strategies and training deliverables
  • Create a variety of training products for both internal and external audiences
  • Provide training support for internal and external audits

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in an Instructional Designer role
  • Experience creating and maintaining web-based and instructor-led courses, manuals, and other training deliverables
  • Self-directed
  • Able to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to clearly and accurately articulate complex topics and ideas
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a regulatory industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, training, instructional design
  • Required technical skills: Captivate, audio editing software (e.g. Audacity)
