The Product Marketing team at Splunk is focused on understanding market needs and delivering customer outcomes across Security, IT and DevOps audiences. As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager you will work a team of product marketing professionals and build strong relationships with stakeholders in Product Management, Campaign Demand Generation Marketing and Sales. You will be called upon as a subject matter expert for the observability market and target buyers to define and execute Splunk Observability GTM strategy, messaging and vision. Critical to this role is being a seasoned enterprise software product marketing professional with strong expertise within IT Ops and DevOps, ideally with technologies that are core for monitoring on-premises, hybrid and cloud infrastructure and applications. Lastly, you thrive in working in a high-growth, dynamic environment and will have an unbridled passion for product marketing. Responsibilities Deliver sustainable business growth by understanding customers needs while identifying and assessing GTM opportunities.

Develop effective messaging that reflects the differentiated and strategic value of the Splunk observability portfolio.

Build and maintain the practitioner, decision-making, and influencer observability personas.

Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies and campaigns across multiple products, verticals, partners and personas.

Help define market strategy and drive marketing efforts for building market awareness and demand generation in support of the Splunk solution portfolio.

Scale Splunk thought leadership efforts as it relates to observability.

Skill Requirements

8+ years of total experience as a leader in product marketing or a combination of product marketing / product management.

5+ years of experience in IT monitoring and observability.

Ability to cultivate, motivate, and inspire team members.

Compelling story teller, ability to communicate complex technology crisply and simply.

Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative fast-growing environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or an equivalent field of study; MBA a plus but not required.
