Two Locations: Berwyn, PA / Raleigh, NC

Onsite Role.

Responsibilities (Try to keep to a maximum of 7 responsibilities.)
  • Respond to queries either in person, over the phone and by email.
  • Create, manage and maintain Windows desktop image for enterprise pc’s.
  • Image and configure workstations and laptops according to organizational standards and end user specifications.
  • Perform level 2 tech support fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, configuring systems and applications
  • Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting of hardware, software and networking issues for various clients.
  • Manage personal queue within corporate central ticketing system (SAManage\Solarwinds Service Desk) issues within defined SLA.
  • Support local and remote users accessing the network via VPN and LogmeIn
  • Respond to queries either in person, over the phone, by email.

Minimum Requirements (Include Education requirement, travel requirement, program/software proficiency)
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or related subject, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a computer support specialist.
  • Experience with desktop imaging tools and OS configuration.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service skills.
  • Ability to provide users with outstanding customer care and service at all times.
  • Good time management skills and ability to work without supervision.
  • Must meet physical requirements, specifically removing and installing computer components.
  • Strong aptitude in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, PC hardware upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Must maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Requirements (Higher Education requirement? Certification?)
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or related subject, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience as a computer support specialist.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service skills.
  • Ability to provide users with outstanding customer care and service at all times.
  • Good time management skills and ability to work without supervision.
  • Must meet physical requirements, specifically removing and installing computer components.
  • Strong aptitude in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, PC hardware upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Must maintain confidentiality.
