Unarmed Security Guard/ NEEDED ASAP

ALERT PATROL INC is hiring for Durham, NC!

Candidates MUST have the following qualifications, skills and abilities:

Must be able to work overnight and on weekends (must be flexible to occasional schedule changes).

Must be able to pass a background check (which includes all criminal records) and drug screening.

Must have a valid Driver’s License and Security License.

Must be punctual and maintain satisfactory attendance.

Must have reliable transportation and access to a personal cell phone.

Must be authorized to legally work in the United States.

Must have a neat & professional appearance and adhere to proper hygiene and grooming standards at all times.

Must be able to Speak, Read and Write in English.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Must have a customer service background, a professional demeanor and interpersonal skills

Good oral & written communication skills – in ENGLISH.

Must be detail oriented with the ability to correctly complete and comprehend post orders, activity logs, incident reports and other related reports.

Basic knowledge of electronic equipment and Smartphone technology.

MUST have a Class D Security License.

Responsibilities:

Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence

Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property

Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area

Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations

Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts

Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions

Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation

Provide assistance to people in need

Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to the legal protocol before the arrival of authorities

Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Skills:

Proven experience as a security officer or guard

Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety

Familiarity with report writing

Excellent surveillance and observation skills

Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems

High School diploma is required

English is a MUST!

Spanish is a PLUS!

Pay rate: 18.00 to 19.00 per hour (according to the experience)

Shift: 6pm to 6am
