SQL Developer Direct Hire Location: Raleigh, NC

Applicants must have 5+ years of experience in working with Microsoft SQL Server Essential Duties and Responsibilities -
  • Participate in database design and architecture to support application development projects
  • Prepare design specifications and functional documentations for assigned database projects
  • Identify any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measure
  • Optimize database systems for performance efficiency including ETL processes
  • Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development
  • Build, execute, and monitor database jobs
  • Collaborate with departments within the organization to translate business requirements into system requirements
  • Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and company policies and procedures

Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in working with Microsoft SQL Server, including specific experience developing stored procedures, triggers, ETL/SSIS packages
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient working in a DevOps environment
  • Solid troubleshooting skill set required
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience developing Tableau and PowerBI dashboards is preferred
  • ERP systems experience is preferred
  • Experience with clinical and financial domains
  • Ability to work extended, non-business hours is required

Minimum Qualifications: Education/Licensing/Certification:
  • 4-year degree in computer science, business, or related field
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Agile framework in a DevOps environment
