Linux System Engineer to support a global networking company located in

Raleigh, NC. The

Linux System Engineer will work in a cleared environment to support mission critical systems.

Responsibilities of the Linux System Engineer:

Operates in a multitude of secure environments to build, deploy, and support mission critical systems
Safeguard systems in compliance w/NISPOM and ICD guidelines
Assist in creation and management of System Security Plans
Remediation plans (POA&M) documentation and system accreditation process

Qualifications of the Linux System Engineer

Diverse background in IT Networking (Network/System administration, Software Development)
DOD 8570 Certification (Security+, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CASP)
Adept in configuring, deploying, and auditing systems within cloud, hybrid and on-prem environments
Expert in system patching and vulnerability remediation
Familiarity with Agile Methodologies, DevOps and traditional development methodologies
Skilled in Cisco networking devices, Windows/Linux Operating Systems and VMWare, webmail and database services
TS/SCI with poly clearance

Compensation of the Linux Systems Engineer:

Salary: $115,000 -$140,000, based on relevant experience, clearance and location
