Bring your creativity to help us find solutions to complex problems and play an essential part in preparing our nation for the future.GDIT TSS (Technology Shared Services) is seeking a Full Stack .NET Software Developer Senior Advisor to support its Technology Shared Services (TSS) Data Analytics team developing custom software for GDIT programs that serve federal agency missions. The work location is remote. The TSS Data and Analytics team uses a variety of tools including Azure and Azure DevOps, C# and .NET programming languages, SQL Server, AWS, Tableau, and Visual Studio.GDIT is your place. In this role, a typical day will include:Key Responsibilities:Applies advanced knowledge to all phases of the software development lifecycle
Applies advanced knowledge to analyze user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs. Presenting solutions to clients for early feedback.
Applies advanced knowledge to create a wide variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application.
Applies advanced knowledge to software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs.
Provides advanced analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status.
Provides advanced guidance on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates. Writing documentation, standards, best practices, and naming conventions.
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
May serve as a team or task lead
Writing C# code, configuring workflows, writing stored procedures
Writing unit tests, integration tests, regression tests, Automating tests
Reviewing code
Deploying code to development, QA, or production environments
Collaborating with the development team in daily scrums, sprint meetings, and deployments
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or relevant degree
Ten years of software development experience
Experience working with .NET framework.
Experience coding with C#
Experience with Microsoft SQL Stored procedures
Experience with Azure
Experience with SQL Server
Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities at any given time.
Good team player and adapt to changing client needs.
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present to business leaders.
Ability to analyze, evaluate, and develop new and existing web/database applications.
Ability to work alone or as part of a team on complex projects with competing deadlines.
Experience updating programs, constructing systems documentation, instructions, and user guides.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and part of a team
Knowledge of Agile methodology
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tool(s)
Experience with Software Quality best practices
Experience with test automation
US Citizenship per contract requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:Fifteen or more years of experience
Experience with DevSecOps using Azure DevOps tool
Software architecture and design
Experience with Angular
Azure security capabilities
Containerization
HTML
Experience with Tableau
AWS
