DataStaff is in immediate need of a
ServiceNow Developer for a direct-hire opportunity for one of our clients in Raleigh, NC Description:- Our client’s ServiceNow instance is used by over 4000 employees, handling thousands of transactions a day. Their Service Catalog has over 120 active items, and requests for more catalog items and ServiceNow solutions are arriving all the time.
- Focus on building technology solutions; including developing the Service Catalog, Service Portal, IT Service Management, Mobile Agent, and tailored solutions with Now Platform.
- Work closely with our ServiceNow team to design, develop, and deploy new features and updates every week utilizing tools such as Integration Hub, Flow Designer, Workflow, REST APIs, and PowerShell.
- Work with business and technical users to gather requirements, design sustainable solutions, and quickly deliver value back to the organization.
- Demonstrate sound working knowledge of ServiceNow’s core architecture and primary applications modules, including Service Catalog, Incident, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, Mobile Agent, and Self-Service Portal
- Ensure appropriate SDLC process is adhered to when promoting updates through Development/QA/Production environments. A “Test” instance is also available
- Design best practice solutions that favor system configuration over customization and maintain out of the box upgradability without the need for significant rework
- Work closely with ServiceNow Admin on maintenance, enhancements, and defect fixes
- Skilled in developing solutions that require good knowledge of JavaScript and Glide
- Gather and translate business requirements to usable solutions
- Good communication skills
- Three plus years of experience with the ServiceNow platform
- Experience with Active Directory
- PowerShell
- ITIL Processes
- HTML/CSS/AngularJS
