Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Controllerfor a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Raleigh, NC. Responsibilities :

• Support Securitized Products Valuation Control function related to VRC Intra-Month Balance Sheet (IMBS) project.
• Apply knowledge of financial products to understand the valuation process workflows in all areas of securitized products
• Provide tactical solutions and develop necessary technology tools to improve the execution efficiency of IMBS delivery
• Interact with other Valuation Risk Control groups, Front Office, Risk Management and Business Finance teams

• Product Controllers should be highly attentive to risk and the importance of a strong control environment and show a high attention to detail in all aspects of their work.
• You should also possess highly developed analytic, interpersonal and communication skills to enable them to engage in relationships with key clients to understand and address their issues.

• You would ideally have 2 - 5 years of financial service, banking or accounting experience
• Knowledge of securitized products would be beneficial
• Experience with operations or information technology project management within financial service would be beneficial
• You excel at communicating, and are able to articulate issues clearly and succinctly to senior management
• Ideally you will be flexible, diligent, organized and a great teammate
• Experience with programing language such as Python, VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) in Excel and Access database, and SQL is preferred
