The Global Network Operations team is responsible for 24 x 7 x 365 operations and support of enterprise network and voice services. With over 50 locations across the world, spanning most continents, there is a team of eight ensuring operational excellence and the high performance of their network and voice environment-one in San Jose and Costa Rica, two in Moscow and a team of four in Asia-Pacific. The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for architecture and design of enterprise network services, and should come from an environment where he/she is the expert in route/switch within Cisco technologies - driving and delivering architectural framework, leading best practice design creating and implementation efforts will be the core of this individuals day to day - he/she must hold strengths in a few of the following areas as well: WAN, LAN, WiFi (Cisco), Load-balancing (Citrix), SDWAN (Silver Peak) or Cloud networking. Experience driving network security services in an enterprise environment is essential - they must understand the importance of continuously evolving security standards and working with security teams - have Palo Alto firewalls in their environment, but this specific experience isn't required. Experience working with internal teams, the business and stakeholders to drive global networking solutions is vital to success - this person will also serve as a mentor for more junior engineers, setting standards for technical excellence. BONUS: Real estate experience - prior experience when it comes to real estate projects (expanding current office space within a building), build outs for buildings new to the organization, and green field build outs (from a plot of land to a new building) when it comes to the assessment, delivery and maintenance of the network technologies for growing and existing infrastructure.
