The Navy's Enterprise Authoritative Data Environment (eADE) system team is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to join their team.This is a 100% remote opportunity.The program overall will maintain Navy O&M and Research/Development/Test and Evaluation (RDTE) for Navy Personnel and Pay systems . The eADE team will apply an authoritative data sharing framework that supports data analytics and business intelligence functions to the HR systems.The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for performing the following responsibilities/functions:Supplements application familiarity and technical knowledge of Experian data quality tool with ADE customers to help facilitate meeting mission needs
Advises Enterprise Information Systems (EIM) customers and ADE Development Team in setting up organizational roles/permissions/security policies for Experian users
Identifies data quality metrics and execute data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
Performs data quality functions such as validation, standardization, enrichment, and profiling.
Measures and monitors data quality so that it is fit for the purpose.
Defines, drives, and prioritizes data quality remediation plans
Facilitates online training access and opportunities with vendors as required
Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
Coaches and provides guidance to less-experienced team members
Strong written and oral communications skills
Documents work for leadership, update/create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief staff and customers on various tasks
If qualified for privileged access, ensures data management applications are patched, upgraded and remain compliant with DoD and Navy cybersecurity requirements
Qualifications:BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
5+ years of experience required in analyzing, assessing, designing, and conducting complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality / integrity issues and testing controls and data systems to ensure quality and risk compliance standards are met
2+ years of hands-on experience required with one or more Data Quality Management tools (Experian , Talend, Informatica, etc.)
AWS environment work experience is preferred
Requires ability to work in a collaborative environment to troubleshoot and resolve problems
Data quality experience with Navy data is preferred
Secret clearance is required
Preferred qualifications for privileged access:
Completed T5 Investigation is preferred (eligibility for Top Secret clearance)
Compliance with DoD 8570 - IAT Level II ( Security+ CE or equivalent cert) is preferred
Possesses Linux Operating System / Computing Environment certification or must complete 40 hours of Linux training annually
Possesses 2+ years of experience optimizing and configuring Experian or equivalent technology
