- Remotely investigate and resolve issues surrounding and documentation of a variety of networking products, including, but not limited to, routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Investigate and resolve issues surrounding PCs or laptops according to the Client's user profile settings
- Investigate and resolve issues surrounding Microsoft cloud-based products and services (such as Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams), domain management, threat protection, and all associated licensing; and implementation of basic related services (such as creating email accounts or changing passwords)
- Check all work orders, assigned tickets, job notes, department information, and department tasks daily for accuracy and completeness
- Troubleshooting, configuration, light database administration, and repair for server, network, infrastructure, data center, email, file shares, and other infrastructure issues
- Identify trends in issue reporting, inform leadership and work with the team to determine preventative solutions, including recommendations of upgrades, replacements, or training
- Provide solutions for a wide variety of technical?problems
- Identify areas of opportunity and inform leadership and training to develop tools to increase overall knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Consistently seeks to find ways to improve the team and operations of the company through out-of-the-box thinking
- Monitor and assist with Network or Server alerts and help the team to resolve as quickly as possible involving appropriate team members and working with the Client
- Review technical documentation for usability, flow, and accuracy
- Capture onsite information during onsite Client interactions, as appropriate, including photos and specific equipment details to assist in engineering
- Network and computer troubleshooting, implementation, and support experience
- Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications
- Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance on systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications
- Ability to communicate technical guidance and instruction to users on the use of applications and systems
- Solid working knowledge of troubleshooting technologies
- Experience with PC and Mac - operating systems and hardware
- Network, Microsoft, Security, and/or Vendor certifications preferred
- Ability to work across various industries
