Automotive Technician (GREENSBORO)

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience and skill level. Matching retirement contributions. Paid vacation and holiday pay and matching 401K program.

Employment type: part-time or full-time. Monday through Friday! Looking to hire for 3 days per week or 6 hours per day. This is a perfect position for semi-retired mechanic with previous experience looking to work 25 - 30 per week. I can also use a full time mechanic that can pull 40 hours per week.

Growing Tire and Auto Repair Center is in need of Technician (A or B Tech) with automotive repair experience. Come and join our team! I AM NOT looking for an apprentice: EXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN ONLY Clean work environment with enthusiastic team.

Must have your own tools and a valid drivers license and clean NC driving record.

SUMMARY- Service Technician is responsible for identifying necessary vehicle service and performing the repair, service, and/or maintenance work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)-

€ Examines customer vehicles.

€ Identifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance to include drivability issues.

€ Estimates cost of repairs.

€ Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance to include air conditioning repairs.

€ Documents services performed.

€ Performs services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines.

€ Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines.

€ Requests necessary parts.

€ Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS-

€ At least 3 years of technician experience

€ ASE certifications a plus but not required

€ Must have working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)

€ A high level of motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed.

€ Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

€ Proven knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.

€ Professional appearance.

€ Valid in-state driver's license with good driving record
