SUMMARY:The Software Engineer will provide user friendly, seamlessly integrated software for improved design methodologies, faster visualization of results, process control and improvements, and general automation. The ideal candidate will use

Python and/or C in conjunction with existing Software and APIs. Qualifications include:

Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience, OR a Masters with 1-2+ years of experience in software development
Python and/or C experience
Solid SDLC understanding
Familiarity with GUI development, preferred
Well versed in Object Oriented Design (OOD), programming and design patterns
Experience in SCRUM (Agile) development process – desired
Experience in the full life cycle of the software design process including requirement analysis, design, prototyping, coding, documentation, implementation, and maintenance
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of algorithms and data-structures
GIT, PyCharm, Visual Studio, Oracle/SQL, Scripting, etc. – a plus
