Change instrumentation, collect data, change/modify parts through test iterations, and support engineering by instrumenting trucks for data collection. Technician / MechanicMin. 5 years of truck service or Heavy Duty Truck Education DiplomaGood understanding of HVAC SystemsBasic understanding or knowledge of Truck systems (steering, suspension, brakes, electrical, engine, transmission, drivability/handling, emissions)Heavy duty diesel diagnostics is a plusMust be willing to travelIdentify different types of instrumentation, understand application, and understand functionSupport engineering by instrumenting trucks for data collection during testing activities.Change instrumentation, collect data, change/modify parts through test iterationsMust have basic PC skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, OutlookPerform vehicle retrofits including custom installations to prepare vehicles for test.Routine maintenance and inspections on class 8 vehiclesProgramming and troubleshooting of vehicle systems using service toolASE a plusCDL A or B a plus Standard shift is Mon - Fri 7:00 4:00. Certain tests require weekend support.
