- Successfully lead complex, multiphase projects by guiding cross-functional teams, suppliers, and the development teams to define, scope, plan, and deliver Hardware products and solutions. Oversee all aspects of new and existing programs or projects from start to finish. Act as the single point of contact for all program activities, schedule, and status
- Develop and nurture key relationships with product management, development management and suppliers. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate product releases and report project status. Foster an environment of collaboration, trust, and accountability for departmental and cross-functional teams.
- Manage product feature-function content, facilitating sizing activities with the technical team.
- Develop and maintain the master plan and schedule for multiple product releases. Develop product release schedules, committing those schedules to the business and ensuring timely execution
- Present project status and recommendations to management
- Identify and resolve problems, gaps, and challenges in engineering processes
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination in an engineering or new product development environment.
- Demonstrated Knowledge of project management
- Ability to work well and communicate well with others
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with team members dispersed across multiple countries and time zones
- Possess a level of comfort to work “in the weeds” with development teams, as well as at a portfolio level with high-level executives
- Excellent risk and change management skills
- Dynamic and effective virtual meeting facilitation skills through phone and internet
- Familiarity with different project management methodologies, tools, and defect tracking systems.
- Ability to work well within a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to bring different groups of people together to collaborate in a community setting
- Experience working in a cross-functional, collaborative environment
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
