Medical Office AssistantSpecialty doctor's office in Matthews is looking for a Medical Office Assistant to join their team.Monday-Friday regular business hours. $16-18/hour based on experience. Temp to permanent.ResponsibilitiesFirst interaction our office has with our patientsCheck in and check out patients in EMR (collect missed co-pays, co-insurance & balances.)Answer phones, checking in patients, delivering charts to nurses.Schedule Patient Appointments and Referrals as neededPrior authorization/benefits verificationMedical records requestsIndex scanned documentsOrganize and disperse all paperwork for incoming faxesRequirements2+ years of experience in a medical front office role.Epic experience a plus.Computer savvy with Word/Excel experience.Hard-working in a fast-paced environment.Able to multi task, highly important with the ability to pay attention to detailAble to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers and managerBeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
