job descriptionIT Security Specialistjob summary:Summary:Resource is required to be on the assignment for the required hours as specified in the job description. Forty hours per week is the expectation in the absence of specified hours. Attendance and punctuality are essential components of the position; therefore, unexcused absences and tardiness could result in dismissal. 7 - 10 years. Responsible for providing security expertise.

Provides baseline security standards and policies for multiple projects of high complexity. Will be identifying potential threats and risks and making recommendations to prevent these issues. In-depth information security expertise.

Information Technology or risk management experience. Requires overall high-level understanding of security along with technical security background (including some architecture experience).

Key individual contributor, with accountability for enabling secure environments (processes and technologies) for the business and technology groups.

Utilizes technical and business knowledge to design and implement secure, risk-based solutions, exercising judgment within broadly defined practices and policies.

Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units, at various levels.

Extensive experience with information security topics, including the design, development, implementation or governance of information security solutions.

Resource support needed to lead the development of the resiliency testing strategy document and the resiliency service application, infrastructure, and data center testing roadmap and provide guidance based on experience, including industry trends, regulatory perspectives, and typical gaps. CWill assist in reviewing documentation, conducting interviews with key stakeholders, and ultimately drafting the consolidated resiliency testing strategy document

Acts as day-to-day client contact on the engagement; running key meetings and delivering executive-level presentations.

Provides oversight, subject matter direction, and guidance to the engagement team in the development of all deliverables including the current state discovery, resiliency testing strategy document, and execution roadmap.

Provides ongoing review and feedback of key deliverables to the engagement team to ensure accuracy.

Drives the socialization of the resiliency testing strategy document with key client executives.

qualifications:Qualifications:Required Job Skills15+ years of relevant work experience at a financial services company or comparable experience working as a consultant in a professional services firm delivering advisory services.

Thorough experience and expertise in enterprise resiliency, disaster recovery, business continuity, and regulatory expectations.

Deep understanding of the current IT environment and industry IT and resiliency trends.

Proven delivery skills including the ability to provide subject matter direction and guidance to an engagement team and manage the delivery of an engagement.

Knowledge of key IT management processes and industry frameworks.

Key industry certifications including ITIL Expert or CISSP.

Knowledge of financial organization and experience providing advisory services at client.
