Core Java Developer

job summary:

• Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions.
• These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools.
• Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies.
• May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives.
• Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource.
• May have responsibility for a project and project budget.
• May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application.
• Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants.
• Typically requires 7-10 years of experience.

• Hands on experience in Core Java & Advance Java/J2EE - frameworks like Struts, spring (Intermediate to Expert level)
• Advance knowledge on ORM framework such as hibernate
• Knowledge on JavaScript /JQuery/Angular JS
• Working knowledge in transaction management and clean understanding of concepts such as connection pooling, multi-threading and job scheduling
• Advance knowledge on Oracle database e.g. complex SQL, query plan analysis, performance tuning, identifying memory and connection leaks. Understanding of memory and thread dumps
• Experience in SOAP/RESTFul Web services using XML/JSON.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven, Ant, Gradle
• Experience in CICD with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins and Ansible
• Experience in J2EE Web/App servers Weblogic and Autosys job scheduler
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently with LOB and other stakeholders

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's degree would be a plus)
• Experience with enterprise Dev/Ops and monitoring tools
