job summary:

Description: Lead developer to develop and maintain software applications in Agile manner to support business units or supporting functions.

Responsibilities

Leads, develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions.
These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies.
Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application.
Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities.
Works under minimal supervision

Primary Skill: .Net Core

Secondary Skill: Soap/Rest Webservices

Tertiary Skill: MySQL

Required Skills

Minimum 6-8 years .NET/Web full stack development experience with web services (SOAP & REST)
Database development skills in building stored procedures against SQL Server (creating tables, view, complex stored procedure, triggers and performance tuning)
MVC, Angular 7+, JQuery, UI development, Restful APIs, C#, ADO.NET, HTML/CSS skills required
Experience in debugging IIS server logs and application errors
Familiarity in publishing code to various environments through FTP or any using CD tools
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Javascript, Typescript
Agile scrum development experience is required - Rally/Jira
Team player, ability to work with onshore/offshore is mandatory
Must be able to lead offshore teams technically providing insight in agile scrum model
Familiarity with architecture (N-Tier) and design patterns
Knowledge and understanding of SOLID principles and OOP design
Experience working with source control tools like TFS , GIT or Bit bucket

Desired Skills

Good understanding of working with other database systems like DB2 is a plus
Development experience with messaging systems like MSMQ, IBM MQ is a plus
