Senior Software Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: Position is based in Charlotte, NC, some teleworking may be permitted. Travel to Lowe's offices may be required. Translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and deliver code modules, develop and maintain stable application systems, and software solutions in Finance. Partner with Product Team to understand business needs and functional Specifications. Participate in the full system development lifecycle (SDLC) for Finance applications. Responsible for technical and detail design, development activities, support for quality assurance testing activities and cooperation with other project teams to support production operations. Guide application and software development teams in the design and build of complex solutions and ensures that teams are in alignment with the architecture blueprint, standards, target state architecture, and strategies. Develop, configure, or modify complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. Coordinate, execute, and participate in component integration (CIT) scenarios, systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance. Configure code and monitor and lead incident and problem management activities. Participates and coach others in all software development end-to-end product lifecycle phases by applying and sharing an in-depth understanding of complex company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls testing (UAT) to identify application errors and to ensure quality software deployment. Automate and simplifies team development, test, and operations processes; develops detailed architecture plans for large scale enterprise architecture projects and drives the plans to fruition. Solve complex architecture/design and business problems; solutions are extensible; works to simplify, optimize, remove bottlenecks, etc. Facilitate the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications. Coordinate with resources that are working in geographically diverse regions.
