Your work will support OneMain's goal to improve the financial wellbeing of hardworking Americans. Our ideal candidate will welcome ambiguity and partner with a cross-functional team to lead discovery, prototype solutions, and validate them with real end users. You'll be a front-line advocate for our customers, facilitate open collaboration, and deliver thoughtful digital design work (from low to high fidelity).What you'll do as a UX DesignerPartner closely with Product Managers, Researchers, Content Strategists, and Developers to take conceptual ideas and turn them into functional and discoverable product features.Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas to push the evolution of our product, including online and offline cross-channel experiencesBe our customer advocate talk to them, analyze their behavior, step into their shoes, and help us define and evolve our customer personasLead and design elegant, simple, human-centric flows and experiences as we define new initiatives and iterate on existing featuresGive and solicit feedback from other designers, product management, and engineering during weekly reviews and standupsContribute to high-level strategic decisions and participate in ad-hoc whiteboarding sessions.Use, maintain, and expand a design system that delivers a coherent and intuitive experience across our digital touchpointsSkills and experience you'll needMinimum of 4 years designing mobile-first and responsive websitesKnowledge of UX best practices and trendsProficiency with design authoring and prototyping tools such as:Figma, XD , Sketch, InVision, Adobe SuiteExperience creating functional prototypesExperience conducting user research - generative and validationStrong understanding of information hierarchy and typographyStrong communication and presentation skillsBonus points forA passion for building web and mobile app productsFinancial services experience with a track record of results Experience working in an agile environment for a growing companyBenefits:Because we want our team members to bring us their very best every day, we believe they deserve the right opportunities and benefits.
